I asked God for strength, that I might achieve,
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health, that I might do greater things,

Pope Benedict XVI is an outstanding theologian and he constantly keeps before our eyes the major issues of our time. In his World Day of Peace Message, January 2012, he addressed the urgency of educating young people in justice and peace. “We need witnesses” he wrote, “capable of seeing farther than others because their life is so much broader. A witness is someone who first lives the life he proposes to others. “

In the past Nine Years I have lost my parents and brother. Losses, like all of yours who read this article, that continue to be felt. I remember the day I buried my mother and genuinely thinking that nothing could ever feel as bad as this loss in my life again.
